Join us for an evening of creativity as part of our events around this year’s Women’s Day.
You can bring an old tote bag and transform it into a feminist one with fabric markers and paints, or even stick/sew a piece of material on top of unwanted adverts/words on your tote bag. Francesca Zammit from YPB will bring her sewing machine to help us out with creativity. You may also bring an old T-shirt/other fabric and we will transform them into a tote bag during the workshop.
We will also have some ready-made tote bags waiting to be transformed into creative and colourful pieces of feminist art.
The workshop will last about 2 hours. Throughout it we will also be able to chat, have a drink and chill.
This is a safe space activity: women, non-binary & trans people, queers and allies are welcome. We have a right to ask people to leave if they are making others feel unsafe.
