On Wednesday, 1st December, World AIDS Day, Moviment Graffitti, together with MGRM, Checkpoint Malta and Udjenza are organising an activity aimed at raising awareness and sharing thoughts and ideas about this issue with the public. The activity will be held at 67, Strait Street, Valletta and will start at 7.00 p.m.
The activity, Surviving Voices, will start with the screening of a short film about the experiences of transpersons who are HIV positive. This will be followed by a panel discussion which will explore issues related to HIV and AIDS both in relation to the local situation as well as bringing in intersectional elements.
Together with Udjenza, a snippet from the play written by Simon Bartolo, directed by Toni Attard and produced by Culture Venture, will be screened during the event.
The activity is free of charge. After the discussion there will be some food and drinks to share.
