Next Monday 14 November we are inviting the public to join residents of Sliema and Gżira, and environmental organisations in a press conference denouncing the obscenity of a planning application for an 11-storey hotel in a residential area of Gżira and Sliema bordering the iconic Villa Bonici gardens.
To add to the insult, the PA case officer is recommending this development application, filed by MDA president and construction tycoon Michael Stivala, for approval, despite the zone being designated as residential.
