The F Word – Do we need feminism in Malta?

On the eve of Women’s Day, Moviment Graffitti is organizing an open discussion followed by drinks, nibbles and music.

During this activity, it will be possible to see an exhibition showing the journey of Maltese women towards equality and freedom.

Feminism in Malta…did it make a difference? Was it enough? Is it still important?

What does feminism mean to you?

What degree of equality and freedom of choice can women in Malta enjoy?

Why do we still consider feminism necessary in 2020?

What are your impressions of gender stereotypes, sexism and gender roles in your life?

The discussion will open with the following speakers:

Pauline Miceli (Commissioner for Children), Aleksandar Dimitrijevic (Men Against Violence), Andrea Dibben (Women’s Rights Foundation), and Maya Dimitrijevic (YPB).

Free entrance.
